Kimono inspired fashion has been appearing and re-appearing left and right but it is not a new trend. In fact over the past few years the rise of bohemian inspired loose fashion has allowed the kimono to make a huge mark. This style has many different variations which makes it a win for every style, body shape, budget and age. From long formal styles, to thin and casual styles, to those that mirror traditional kimono styles.  

For my shorter ladies I would suggest shorter and more lightweight kimonos. For my curvy ladies I would suggest lightweight as well as styles that allow for wrapping and tying. For my tall ladies I suggest long or medium length styles. Whatever your taste may be, I suggest purchasing a kimono that expresses your style but is also versatile enough to serve your fashion needs and serve as a potential style staple. My kimono I found at a steal last year at a local thrift shop, definitely worth the hard work that comes with rummaging through thrift shops!
