Tips on Styling Pastels

Today's topic is the spring time classic known as pastels. I'm sure that by now you're no stranger to pastels especially when it comes to the infamous Easter outfits. I was lucky enough to find this awesome pink pastel Nasty Gal skirt and immediately fell in love. I was able to style this in a non-cliché way and wanna help you all with some tips!

1. Go Monochrome
Chose a pastel color and stick with it though out your whole look! This is an edgier take on the classic look of pastels.

2. Add black or white
This is one of the more practical ways to style pastel colors, let your pastel take the lead and add a black or white solid to keep a clean aesthetic overall.

3. Pair your pastel with another
Pair one pastel color with another pastel color, to avoid the Easter look accessorize in a bold way. Add a statement necklace, show-stopping shoes or a cool hat.
